A couple of weeks ago I attended a Maritime Training School general boating licence course held in the Stockton Scout Hall. It was a full day course involving theory and practical boating skills. Matt Palmer was our instructor. His presentation and instructions were clearly articulated. Matt also clarified for me a number of points that I thought were not clearly explained in the NSW boating manual. Consequently, I was able to pass the licence exam without any issues. Significantly, Matt also provided us with Tim Tams for morning tea. A nice bonus.
